As part of my role as a composer at Echoic Audio, I composed the original score for Soulmate, a science-fiction drama written and directed by Richard Fenwick and starring Mandeep Dhillon and Joe Dempsie.

Set in the near future, the film follows Anna, a lonely computer programmer whose secret romantic relationship with a conscious artificial intelligence is discovered, forcing her into a desperate fight to save the connection she has come to value most. The story explores themes of love, loneliness, technology, and what it truly means to be human.

The score was crafted to support the emotional heart of the film while reflecting its futuristic setting, blending intimacy and vulnerability with a subtle sense of technological unease.

Through the use of atmospheric textures, evolving motifs, and cinematic orchestration, the music helps guide the audience through Anna's emotional journey and the ethical questions at the centre of the story.

Following its release, Soulmate was acquired by Amazon Prime Video and reached the platform's UK Top 10, introducing the film and its soundtrack to audiences worldwide.
